Gatsby Inspired Wedding Day
Ok ladies, I am not sure if you have seen the new The Great Gatsby movie, but if you love fashion, as much as we do, it is a MUST SEE!
This movie had me so inspired with all the gorgeous vintages style of the drop waist, hats, incredible jewels and SHOES, SHOES, SHOES. This era is so inspiring because women were not only becoming more independent but their style was transforming into trends that still wow designers today.
Breathtaking does not even describe the costumes in this movie, and designers and celebrities everywhere cannot stop raving about its romantic style.

In lieu of this romantic and dreamy look, we have put together some inspirational wedding looks since it’s that time of the year for those blissful summer nuptials to begin.

This ensemble embodies everything beautiful about this time period and is modernized into the perfect wedding gown for your most important day. If I could combine what I love about every look Carey Mulligan wore in The Great Gatsby, it would be this wedding day look.
For the bride, we chose a Lazaro gown that is delicately embellished with crystals and accented with the ‘Rosina’ slingback with specialized glitter fabric and topped with a double layer bow and paired with matching glitter fabric clutch in silver.

Upcoming Shows: Spring 2013
While most of you are wishing for cooler weather and dreaming about fall leathers and boots, we’ve been busy finishing up our Spring 2013 collection and preparing for market. Earlier this month our sales team flew to New York for a successful showing at FFANY; and currently we have one of our regional sales representatives at the Mid Atlantic Shoe Blast in Philadelphia. But that’s just the beginning. Below is a list of the wholesale market shows that J.Reneé will be at over the next few months.
