One of the best things about this shoe is the lower heel. Note that there is a little slit in the top over the toe area that gives the shoe an added bit of style. I didn't like the style of the heel as much as I thought I would. Nothing wrong with it, but just not my preference. Comfortable shoe. I purchased for a wedding and felt like I would have been comfortable walking, dancing, etc if I selected this shoe but I liked another one better.
